The Husqvarna 440E petrol chain saw is a versatile, flexible all-round saw for part time users demanding high quality and a professional feeling. Slim and smooth body, superior power/weight ratio and probably the lowest vibration levels on the market.
It is a new lightweight and efficient all-round chain saw, ideal for those looking for a chainsaw that is exceptionally easy to start and manoeuvre. The Husqvarna 440E features an X-Torq® engine for lower fuel consumption and reduced emission levels. Equipped with Smart Start®, fuel pump and Auto return stop switch for easier starting. Easier handling with tool-less chain tensioner.
The Husqvarna 440E is easy to start, thanks to Smart Start®, fuel pump and Auto return stop switch. It is extremely easy to operate, with built-in Husqvarna features like ergonomic design, facilitating technology and powerful X-Torq® engine with low emissions. The chainsaw incorporates X-Torq™ technology that produces 60% lower emissions with a 20% fuel saving whilst delivering increased power when its needed.
This Husqvarna 440e chainsaw delivers a power output of 1.8kw with a displacement of 41cc. The unit weighs in at just 4.4kg and features ergonomically designed handles that provide an excellent gripping position, whilst the slim design and high centre of gravity ensure comfortable use of the machine. Designed with a three piece forged crankshaft for robust handling, the saw has integral dampers that absorbs excessive vibration and an inertia chain brake that protects the operator in the event of kickback.
The tool less chain tensioning allows for quick and easy chain tensioning and assembly of the bar and the chain without using any tools. It has an inertia activated brake that should activate the chain brake instantly if a kick back occurs and the LowVib vibration dampening absorbs vibration, sparing the user's arms and hands.
Another feature of the Husqvarna 240 is the side-mounted chain tensioner makes chain adjustment quick and easy.
All our machines are run, checked and tuned and given full "Start N Go" service (see above) before leaving our premises. This means we will unpack your machine, start it, test it and individually tune it for maximum power and efficiency. We ensure that your machine is set up and ready to run when it is handed over to you. This is in accordance with Husqvarna policy for their dealers, and you get full back up from us including warranty and repairs and spares, and of course any advice you may need.
