Mountfield SP555 3-in1 Lawn Mower: General Information

The Mountfield SP555 lawn mower is probably the best value mower available in the market place today. The Mountfield SP555 mower is widely used by professional contractors and large land owners. This mower features forged aluminium chassis which carries a 20 year anti-corrosion warranty and the highly reliable Honda GVC160 OHC 4 stroke engine. This Mountfield 3-in-1 combi system gives you the choice of grass collection, rear discharge, or an excellent recycled (mulched) finish. The mulching plug is supplied as standard and simply clips onto the back of the mower to produce an unbelievable finish without collecting the cuttings. Mulching the grass allows the grass to be recycled improving the soil as it decomposes forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. You will notice a marked improvement in your grass as this fertiliser takes effect over the course of the cutting season. The cutting width is a generous 53cm/21in with 9 pre-set height-of-cut positions between 25mm and 80mm selected by using a single lever. Other features include a large 70 litre grass collecting bag and a 1.1 litre fuel tank.
